Pop-up Exhibition featuring artworks inspired by Haruki Murakami Quotes, Tokyo

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of CAT’S TALK, a special pop-up exhibition of my work, inspired by quotes from Haruki Murakami’s novels, will be on display from October 8th to 25th, 2024, at Harcourt (Bar and Grill) in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo.

Harcourt (Bar and Grill)

  • 1-8-4, Nishiazabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Opening hours:
    • Monday to Friday: 11:30-14:00, 17:00-24:00
    • Saturday: 17:00-24:00 (dinner only)
  • Closed: Sunday & National holidays
  • (The artist is not always present.)

The concept of the painting is ‘Cats are dreaming while reading a Haruki Murakami novel’. Inspired by quotes from Murakami’s novels, the light reflects the imaginary world of the cats in the paintings. I hope these artworks will provide a new way to enjoy Murakami novels.
