The Sentinel Island lighthouse has seen its share of suffering.
Standing proudly above the Lynn canal near Juneau in Alaska, it was witness to the tragic sinking of the Princess Sophia which went aground on the Vanderbilt Reef in 1918, with the loss of all 353 passengers…….. bar one
An English Setter, covered in oil was recovered 20 miles to the south in Tee harbour.
Our feline friend looks on as the brave survivor makes his way south.
